Our state-of-the-art facility in Teesside is well under construction, and we're actively seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to manage subcontract tender issuance and oversee the entire management process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting up procedures and processes, coupled with excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Issue and manage project-based subcontract tenders
  • Develop and implement procurement procedures and processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships
  • Monitor and report on procurement activities to senior management
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive efficiency improvements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in procurement
  • Strong understanding of subcontract tender management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to set up and optimise procedures and processes
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools
