Role Purpose

We are currently recruiting for a number of Electricians to join us on a permanent and full time basis.

This role will involve working as a team of electricians working on a number of industrial and water industry programmed of work. You will be working with on strategic partner's sites across the Thames Valley region.

The Role

This is a permanent job role.

Contracted to 40hrs per week (on site hours) Monday to Friday. Paid hourly, with overtime paid. 

You will be paid for all travel time door to door.

  • To be responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure that all items are installed to the highest standards
  • To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment
  • To coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges’ values
  • To act professionally and be an ambassador for Bridges

Requirements

  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • Experience working in an industrial environment
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers in delivering safe profitable projects
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable

  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
  • Test and Inspect
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
  • COMPEX
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience
  • Fitness to work medical
