Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of fire doors across various locations within the designated area.
• Identify and report any non-compliances or defects in fire door installations.
• Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections and findings.
• Provide clear and concise reports on the condition and compliance of fire doors.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing them with essential information regarding their fire door safety.
• Stay up to date with the latest fire safety regulations and best practices.

Training:

• Full training will be provided, including enrolment in the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) training programme.
• On-the-job training with experienced inspectors to gain practical knowledge and skills.
• Continuous professional development opportunities to advance your career within the industry.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid UK driving licence and be willing to travel within the designated area.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Basic IT skills for report writing and record keeping.
