Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed designs for sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with LPCB standards and other relevant regulations.
• Create accurate and comprehensive design drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Conduct hydraulic calculations and other necessary analyses to support design proposals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Review and interpret technical documentation, such as architectural drawings and fire protection codes.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the installation team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify design implementation and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices.
• Prepare and submit design documentation for approval by relevant authorities.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on design-related issues and solutions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Sprinkler Design Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• LPCB qualification is essential.
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant design tools.
• Strong knowledge of fire protection standards and regulations, including BS 9251 and BS EN 12845.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of work.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Relevant qualifications in engineering, fire protection, or a related field.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
