About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Group Sales Director, the Key Accounts Team Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and supporting our Key Accounts Team. This includes onboarding, performance management, training plans, as well as development and mentoring. You will build a positive culture and work environment, with a focus on team wellbeing. Your strategies will ensure our people and culture grow in line with our business ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies for onboarding, performance management, training, development, and mentoring of the Key Accounts Team.
  • Build and maintain a positive work environment that fosters team wellbeing and a culture of excellence.
  • Manage and support the Key Accounts Team to deliver exceptional customer service, engineering excellence, and meet financial expectations.
  • Work closely with the Group Sales Director to align team goals with business ambitions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Lead by example, providing support and guidance to your team.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance and development plans.

  • Proven track record of supporting, developing, and growing a successful sales team.
  • Strong background in account management with a deep understanding of client management processes.
  • Highly motivated and ambitious, with a proactive work ethic and a team player mentality.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain a positive team culture.
  • Strong organisational and strategic planning abilities.
