Following recent project wins, they are looking to expand their team with an Assistant M&E Quantity Surveyor.

About the Role:

As an Assistant M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will support the commercial team in managing the financial and contractual aspects of various projects. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills and advance your career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include cost estimation, procurement, contract administration, and financial management, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for M&E projects.
  • Support the procurement process, including preparing tender documents and evaluating bids.
  • Help manage contracts, including contract administration and negotiation.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring financial objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveying role, ideally within the Commercial, Residential, Leisure, or Educational sectors.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and IT tools.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
