Join a regional construction company known for its excellence across multiple sectors. This company, with projects ranging from £1M to £30M, is seeking a skilled Site Manager to join their team for a major scheme in the Fareham area.

The scheme is due to produce 6,000 homes and years’ worth of work, along with extensive community hubs, hotel, commercial builds, schools and more. Multiple phases of work here over the next 10 plus years - future buildings include offices, schools, scientific and industrial buildings, a hotel and more commercial office space.

Details:

• Responsible for the successful delivery of buildings from the late preconstruction phase, through commencement on site, and during the construction phase
• Working along side other site managers and project managers to ensure plans and design meet project specifications and standards.
• Lead and manage trads and labour teams, ensuring efficient and effective operations
•  Ensure all health & safety protocols are strictly followed on-site
• Update Project Manager on any risks, issues and timeline details of the area of works

The client is seeking a candidate who has strong experience bringing a construction project from the ground up to completion and handover. You will need sound technical knowledge of all phases of the build.

Ideally you will have experience with high end finishes along with heritage/listed builds as the design and look is of a traditional heritage feel.

Requirements:

• Ideally come from a main contractor background or a heritage/listed building background
• Experience on delivering high end construction projects
• Must have proven experience of managing projects from ground to hand over
• A keen eye for detail, high standards and expectation for quality
• Personality will take you afar in securing this position!
• MUST HAVE, SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS
