We have an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's largest main contractors based in Reading. The business operates across many sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and defence with projects ranging in value in excess of £200mil.

About this Quantity Surveyor role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a highly regarded main contractor with a secure project pipeline. The role of Quantity Surveyor will consist of working within an experienced commercial team working on one of various upcoming projects. You will be responsible for managing key packages from procurement through to final account, undertaking CVR's to report on the progress of works.

Key Responsibilities of this Quantity Surveyor role:

• Be involved in large scale projects managing packages from procurement through to final account
• Monitor project costs against programme
• Be involved in mentoring junior members of the team
• Support senior members of the team in daily tasks

Requirements as Quantity Surveyor:

• HNC / Construction related degree
• Must hold a valid British passport
• Experience working for a reputable main contractor
• Experience in managing packages from procurement to final account
