Refrigeration Engineer - South Wales (Field Based) - Permanent - £43,000 -£45,000

This a field-based role covering the South Wales area and a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most dynamic refrigeration, heating, ventilation and air conditioning service providers in Europe.

Role Responsibilities:

• Carrying out refrigeration, reactive and proactive work in line with our client’s Standard Operating Procedures and Key Performance Indicators
• Collecting and fitting parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer
• Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns
• Carrying out calls as allocated by Service Control
• Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely manner
• Working safely in line with health and safety procedures

You will need:

• Experience working on; refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning and building controls, food factory equipment, general equipment, electrical, and fabric repairs
• A ‘F-GAS 2079 Refrigeration Handling’ qualification
• CO2 experience
• Basic HVAC experience desirable
• An excellent attitude and approach to work
• Highly self-reliant, motivated and enthusiastic
• Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to quality and attention to detail
