Maintenance Engineer Wanted!

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician with a strong bias towards electrical engineering? We're looking for someone like you to join our clients in-house engineering team!

Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you'll provide effective maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant, building, and equipment. Reporting to the senior engineer, you'll be a key part of the wider plant team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address mechanical, electrical, plant, equipment, and building issues.
  • Perform safety tests as required.
  • Start up and shut down processing plant, equipment, and facilities.
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance to ensure optimal use and minimum downtime.
  • Follow BS EN ISO 9001: 2000 / 14001 Local Working Instructions and Company Operations Manual.
  • Assist with building maintenance and other ad hoc tasks.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, with one Saturday morning per month for PPM tasks.
  • Main work pattern: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30, Friday 07:00 to 14:00.

Requirements:

  • Completed engineering apprenticeship or similar Level 3 qualifications.
  • Practical maintenance experience: 2 years (required).
