My client makes officially branded driveable little cars for luxury high-end motor manufacturers such as Bugatti, Aston Martin and Ferrari. They are looking for a a proactive and driven experienced Quality Inspector to develop and expand our operations as we broaden and progress the engineering inspection processes in line with exciting growth of the company. This is an integral role within the business you will be responsible for the inspections of inbound production and prototype parts and components, conducting physical checks against engineering drawings and data ensuring our exacting quality standards are met. Alongside this supporting the general warehouse day to day activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily physical checks and inspections of incoming parts and components
  • Review deliveries against Certificates of Conformity 
  • Identify and audit e markings and legislative markings
  • Documenting and reporting of issues and non-conformances
  • General assistance in the warehouse
  • Booking in of Parts using ERP system

Experience Required:

  • High level of attention to detail 
  • An interest in and knowledge of automotive systems and assemblies
  • Able to understand and interpret detailed component and assembly drawings
  • Strong problem solving and lateral thinking skills
  •  Team Player - Working coherently with other team members to deliver to the highest standards
  • Positive can-do attitude to succeed and continually improve

Nice to have: 

  • Forklift Experience (Counterbalance)
  • Experience within a Production/Assembly environment
  • Experience of ERP Systems – ideally SAP B1
  • Experience of dealing with external suppliers and key stakeholders
  • Knowledge of working with composite materials
  • Experience of implementation of new processes and protocols
  • Knowledge of Conformity of Production
