Production Technician 
 
Technique Recruitment Solutions are a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing company based in Norfolk working closely with our Beccles based Client 
 
The role is working 12 hour shifts on a  shift pattern alternating between days and nights 
 
Job Purpose:
• To provide technical support to the Supervisor to ensure planned / unplanned work is carried out effectively,
efficiently and to the Company and Customer standards at all times.
 
Responsibilities
• Tool changing and fault finding on all processes involved in the production of Flexible Tubes.
• Servicing and preparing Tooling / Printing Plates/ inks etc for tool changes.
• Carry out quality checks.
• Basic servicing and cleaning of all machinery and resolving technical issues.
• Fault finding on machinery.
• Carry out post production tasks as and when required.
• Ensure that the work area is safe, tidy and clean during and at the end of each shift.
• Carry out administration and reporting as necessary.
• Comply with quality standards as set by the Company.
• Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current legislation and company procedures, particularly
but not exclusively in regard to Health and Safety, Quality and Environment Management.

Person Specification
Qualifications, skills and Knowledge:

• Technical qualification NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in mechanical or automotive engineering 
• Clear and proven competence of working in an engineering environment.
• The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and at all levels within the Company and with
customers.
• Confident in challenging existing practices and looking for continuous improvement in all areas of work.
• Is able to work as part of a team to achieve team objectives.
• Able to respond positively to changing work demands.
• Takes decisive action to address and react to opportunities and problems in day-to-day work.
• Is conscientious and thorough in all aspects of work responsibilities and has a professional approach to work.
• Has a logical and methodical approach to problem solving/fault finding issues.
• Ability to listen and take up new skills.
• Desire to give a good service, recognising the importance of customer satisfaction on their own work.
• Able to follow instruction, to ensure work is completed as required.
• Ability to undertake duties in every respect as laid out in the job description (further to training if required).
