Technical Designer 

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £62k + Package

I am currently working with an award winning Design & Build company, searching for a dynamic and driven designer to join their team in Central London.

As Technical Designer, you will work closely with the design team to deliver multimillion pound projects for reowned brands. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifestyle from design to on-site delivery. 

Responsibilities

As a Technical Designer, you will be: 

• Creating technical documentation for CAT A, A+ and CAT B projects 
• Dealing with complex technical packs, design intent, landlord packs, contract packs and as-built drawings
• Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical speciifcations 
• Ensure that design standards and best practices are upheld throughout the development process
• Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations to optimise design concepts 
• Coordinating with relevant consultants and ensuring timely response to design queries 

Requirements 

Technical Designers will ideally have: 

• Design / Architecture related degree 
• Experienced on CAT A / CAT B projects 
• Proficient in Revit, ArchiCAD/AutoCAD, StechUp and Enscape (or similar) 
• Skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Able to produce technical drawing packs for construction in adherence to industry standards
