Contek are working with a company in Birmingham who are both Nadcap and AS9100 accredited, specialising in Wire Erosion and Spark Erosion (AKA Electrical Discharge Machining or EDM). They have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Inspector to join their award-winning and enthusiastic team.
Working hours are 10am to 3pm Monday to Thursday. Overtime may be available as and when required.
We are looking for an experienced Inspector to join the team due to the exceptional long-term growth in our orderbook. Self motivation and experience with dealing with customers directly would be very useful attributes.
Our main sector is within the Aerospace Industry, working with a number of Primes directly.
Role
- Part-time Inspector
Skills and Experience
- Main function is First Off Inspection and Final Inspection
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is required
- Experience in using both manual and CNC CMM machines
- Experience in Nadcap and AS9100 would be preferred
- Rate of pay between £15 and £18 per hour dependant on experience, bonus 10% target related paid quarterly and company pension.
- Excellent working environment and bonus scheme
- Holiday entitlement of 101 hours per annum, this includes statutory holidays.
