Overview

Our client is a renowned Architectural Consultancy who work with several of the UK’s leading property developers and house builders to create bespoke residential and commercial spaces that blend aesthetic appeal with functional excellence.

They are now seeking an Architectural Technologist or technically astute Architectural Assistant to join their established team and to support their strong pipeline of residential projects.


About the role

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to get involved with a broad variety of work, including layout design for large housing development schemes and detailed design for bespoke high-end residential, mixed-use and commercial schemes.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Production and amendment of site layouts, house type planning drawings, detailed design packages and other construction information as required.
• The preparation, submission and management of planning applications
• Production of construction information, and subsequent submission / management of building regulations applications.
• Co-ordinating and issuing construction information to site.
• Managing projects on site, handling queries as they arise, attending site meetings and other liaison as required.

About you

Suitable candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• BSc or HND in Architectural Technology or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Architectural Technologist.
• It would be an advantage to have previous experience of working with a developer or house-builder and be familiar with the development of housing layouts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders.
