REClifts are now looking for a Lift Engineer specialising in roping passenger lifts. Their client is a lift engineering company with a global presence. They will consider newly NVQ 3 qualified Lift Engineers or Trainee Lift Installation Engineers / Lift Improvers. It's important to point out that the core experience required is the roping of passenger lifts, this is essential.

The NVQ 3 is not a requirement for this role, but it is desirable where possible.

Commutable from: Leicester, Loughborough, Melton Mowbray, Newark, Grantham,Derby, Matlock, Burton Upon Trent, Lincoln.

Lift Engineer Responsibilities:

• Transporting materials and equipment safely from vehicle to job site
• Identifying materials are correct for the task
• Isolating lift power supply and LOTO
• Rigging up the lift correctly and replacing the ropes
• Terminating ropes in their anchorages
• Supervision of the Roping Engineer's Assistant
• Replacing chains, diverters and traction sheaves as required
• Responsibility for the correct use and maintenance of PPE
• Completing all training and work-related instructions promptly

Lift Engineer Requirements:

• Full UK Driving License - Essential
• NVQ 3 - Desirable
