Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Pershore
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per year

About the Role:We are looking for a committed and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to become an integral part of our team in Pershore. In this role, you will be essential in upholding our Health and Safety (H&S) management systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and fostering a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Health & Safety Management System, ensuring effective document control.
• Develop and review risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and standard operating procedures.
• Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, and near-miss events, identifying root causes.
• Maintain comprehensive records related to HSSE audits, incidents, near misses, and working hours.
• Generate monthly HSSE reports and present findings to the management team.
• Oversee the procurement and management of PPE and first aid supplies across the organization.
• Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Coordinate and manage external health and safety audits.

Skills and Attributes:

• Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role.
• IOSH/NEBOSH or other safety-related qualifications (preferred).
• Familiarity with ISO management systems (advantageous).
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
