Job Title: Transport and Customer Service Administrator (Weekend Nights)

Employment Type: 37.5 hours a week (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Nights)

Position Overview: As a Transport and Customer Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our weekend night shifts. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation logistics, managing customer inquiries, and ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor the movement of goods and vehicles to ensure timely deliveries.
• Handle customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses via phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Update and maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including schedules, routes, and delivery times.
• Liaise with drivers, warehouse staff, and other team members to resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
• Process and manage documentation related to shipments and deliveries.
• Assist in planning and optimising delivery routes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide regular updates to management regarding the status of ongoing operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or customer service is preferred.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Willingness to work night shifts on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
