HR Administrator

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 17:00 pm

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, plus 6% bonus

Holiday: 25 days, plus Birthday off

Pension: 5% contribution from the company

Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an organised and welcoming HR Administrator to support the People Manager. This position will be based on reception, providing a warm and efficient reception service to all visitors and colleagues while also offering administrative support to the People Manager and Operations team.

HR Administrator Role

  • Welcome guests and staff at reception
  • Complete relevant paperwork and be briefed on food hygiene and emergency procedures
  • Ensure temporary staff follow proper sign-in process and issue access fobs
  • Process working hours for agency colleagues and manage new starter paperwork
  • Organise and conduct inductions
  • Provide administrative support to HR and Operations teams, including filing and archiving
  • Maintain HR records for holidays, non-attendance, onboarding, and training
  • Assist the People Manager with Occupational Health referrals and Right to Work documentation
  • Support recruitment activities, managing applications and organising interviews
  • Update contracts of employment, job descriptions, and standard letters as directed by the People Manager
  • Place orders for factory PPE and sundries
  • Support the General Manager with project administration

Skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Prior experience in an administrative position
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective time management, planning, and organisational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

We are seeking a forward-thinking individual for this administration role, supporting the HR/People team. While prior HR experience is not required, the ideal candidate will be organised and comfortable working on reception.
