ABC Teachers are recruiting for SEN teaching assistants to support SEN children on a 1 to 1 basis in primary schools within the Walsall area to commence from September 2024.

The role 
This role includes the following:

• Working on a par-time / full-time basis between 08:30-15:30.
• Working on a 1 to 1 basis with SEN children across all year groups.
• This will be starting from September 2024 and continue up until the Christmas break, this may have a potential to be extended.

Requirements 
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will: 

•  Have had prior experience working with a child with special educational needs.
•  Have a drive to provide the best possible service to the children in their care.
•  Be adaptable to different environments and situations.
•  Teaching assistant qualifications are not compulsory with the right experience.
•  Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
•  Be able to gain relevant references from most recent and relevant roles.
