Position - National Lift Manager

Salary - £55,000 - £60,000 plus company car / car allowance, bonus and excellent benefits package

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lift Manager to join a very successful building maintenance provider working across the country.

The role will be based remotely working from home and involve overseeing the operations across England, Scotland and Wales. You will be responsible for managing, influencing and build strong working relationships with the customer, internal teams and approved contractors.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar position before and hold relevant the relevant qualifications, including:

* Educated to GCSE / Standard Grade level as a minimum, ideally NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
* NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in Lift engineering.

Having experience managing others and ensuring the day to day running of a busy maintenance team is essential.
Having experience of both employee and client management with the ability to maintain and develop relationships with key customers is a must.

The Role

The main purpose of the role is to oversee the lift division of the business and be the face of the company for all communications with the client, using a proactive approach.

The role will entail everything from back office such as assisting with the help desk and making sure all help desk queries are resolved promptly to monitoring KPIs, providing technical support when required, and being on hand for any of the client's needs.

This will also include a financial aspect, whereby you will be responsible for Identifying and delivering business development opportunities within the budget to fund additional services to the customer. Managing all capital plans and projects jointly with the Customer and designated Manager, ensuring they are completed to specification and within budget to optimise value and service levels.

The work is all within the commercial / retail sector and will cover England, Scotland and Wales.

Qualifications

NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installations or equivalent (Parts 1 & 2 etc)
