Our schools in Romfordare looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join the team starting in September 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about education and keen to make a positive impact on students' learning experiences.

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA), the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting both teachers and students. The LSA will help create a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters academic success and personal growth. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.

- Provide individual and small group support to students with varying needs.

- Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess student progress.

- Support the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management plans.

- Encourage and motivate students, promoting positive learning behaviours.

- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
