T&K Associates are currently recruiting for a Junior CAD/Project Engineer to join our client in Moira, Swadlincote on a Permanent basis.

As the Junior CAD/Project Engineer, you will be responsible for materialising new projects, helping to manage current projects within the business and helping to identify cost-saving measures. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic team with ongoing growth plans and development opportunities.

Junior CAD/Project Engineer Benefits;

• £25,000 - £30,000 per annum with additional scope for the right candidate
• Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm

Junior CAD/Project Engineer Job Details;

• Conducting feasibility studies for new projects
• Preparing quotations
• Sourcing new suppliers and subcontractors
• Controlling and managing projects
• Liaising with Production and Quality teams
• Designing tooling
• Solving problems and improving processes
• Working on planning, budgeting, and logistics
• Completing initial component measurement

Junior CAD/Project Engineer Person Specification;

• Knowledge of basic engineering principles and procedures
• Ability to read engineering drawings, perform basic manual, and machine measurements
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs
• Good knowledge of CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) with willingness to learn and improve skills
• Engineering Qualification (HNC/HND minimum)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
