£28,000 - £32,000/annum

Hours are 30+ (flexible based on requirements)

Key responsibilities include:

  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain partnerships with community groups, local businesses, and corporate supporters to generate income through donations, volunteering, and sponsorships.
  • Campaigns & Events: Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to plan and execute creative campaigns and events that engage supporters and boost the charities profile and revenue.
  • Social Media Management: Work with the Communications Officer to produce engaging content, manage social media channels, and explore new ways to connect with potential donors.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Fundraising Enquiries: Serve as the primary contact for community and corporate fundraising queries.
  • Corporate Portfolio Management: Build and manage a pipeline of corporate contacts through research and outreach.
  • Presentations & Networking: Confidently pitch to and network with corporate and community groups, enhancing the charities profile and securing new opportunities.
  • Supporter Experience: Ensure positive engagement with supporters through tailored donor journeys.
  • Event & Campaign Delivery: Execute fundraising events and campaigns across all income streams to meet set targets.
  • Media & Communications Support: Assist with press releases, photo calls, and media appearances to promote fundraising activities.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate donor records and fundraising activities using CRM software.

Work Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in account management, including building relationships and securing new business.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using social media
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Confident public speaker, skilled in networking and relationship management.
  • IT proficiency, especially in MS Office and CRM systems, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and compassionate, with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Sensitivity and compassion when interacting with families.
