Build to Rent General Manager –Bath & Cardiff- £70,000- DOE

One Property Recruitment have been instructed upon the search for a General Manager to join their brand-new Build to Rent development consisting of high-end Build to Rent units at their Bath and Cardiff developments.

About the client:

My client is one of the fastest growing Build to Rent operators across the UK, and they operate a unique mix of properties within their portfolio. The residents within this portfolio are predominantly young professionals and young families. 

What will you do?

• Lead the onsite team and consistently motivate them to perform and provide an exceptional service to all residents.

• Arrange and execute regular events for the residents and for the local community. These events may hundreds of people attending.

• Go between the Bath and Cardiff sites to ensure that all operations are running as smoothly as possible.

• Get heavily involved in all onsite recruitment needs as well as training new members of staff to ensure world class customer service!

• Conduct all leasing onsite and ensure that the developments are as close to 100% occupancy as possible. 

•  Manage the residential operating budget.

• Work closely with the Regional Head of Operations to deliver business process improvements and build internal standard operating procedures for the site.

• Manage all of the high-end units.

I am looking for the following attributes/ skillset:

• Experience in the Build to Rent sector or in Student Accommodation at Regional level.

• Have exceptional events planning and management experience- this is super essential for these sites. 

• Possess an exceptional understanding of building operations and statutory obligations.

• Have an exceptional understanding of health and safety regulations.

• A natural ability and exceptional experience of leading a team and ensuring that people are buying into your brand.

• Have a calm communication style.

• Ability to always keep sensitive information highly confidential.
