Stores Manager required to work for a leading engineering and manufacturing business based in Uxbridge. We are looking for an experienced Stores Manager with a strong background ideally within the aerospace and defense industries. You will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing the dispatching of orders, and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of industry-specific regulations and requirements, and a proven track record of managing stores and dispatch operations in a high-security environment.

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
• Implement and oversee inventory control procedures to prevent shortages, overstock, and discrepancies.
• Utilize the IFS ERP system to manage and track inventory, generate reports, and perform regular audits.
• Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, including those related to aerospace and defense.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure the integrity and traceability of inventory.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a stores or warehouse management role, preferably within the aerospace and defense industries.
• Proven experience in inventory management and order dispatching.
• Familiarity with aerospace and defense industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, order dispatching, and using ERP systems, specifically IFS.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in the IFS ERP system, with a strong understanding of its applications in inventory and warehouse management.
