Location: Central London Office & Projects 
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 (Basic) + Comprehensive Package

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated M&E Quantity Surveyor to join a M&E Contractor based in Central London. This role is perfect for an individual with a background in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) packages, looking to advance their career within a growing and innovative company. The position offers a mix of office-based work and flexible home working options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of M&E projects.
  • Preparation and submission of interim valuations, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
  • Oversee procurement of subcontractors, materials, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis and value engineering throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and negotiate final accounts, variations, and claims.
  • Provide commercial advice and support to the project team, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and to the highest standards.
  • Regularly liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project performance, identifying any risks or issues and implementing solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a focus on M&E packages.
  • Strong understanding of M&E systems and components within commercial, residential, and government projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and legislation.
  • Proficient in cost management software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
