Saw Operator
Kempston
Salary: £12.50 - £14 per hour with holiday paid.
Summary of the Role:
This role involves operating automatic cutting saws to precise measurements, primarily working with aluminium extrusions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate automatic cutting saws according to specific measurements and requirements.
- Work primarily with aluminium extrusions to create high-quality components.
- Coordinate with the Production Manager to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Handle manual tasks as required, including material handling.
Key Skills:
- Table saw
- Double mitre
- CNC
- Semi-automatic
- Strong numeracy / interpret measurements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in a production environment as a Saw Operator is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physical fitness to handle the manual aspects of the role.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Half Day Fridays
