Quantity Surveyor/Estimator Opportunity - Central Scotland
First People Solutions is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Estimator/Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading construction company based in Central Scotland.
Role Overview:
- Position: Estimator/Quantity Surveyor
- Location: Central Scotland, Stirling
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage tender processes from initial review to final submission.
- Conduct take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
- Liaise with the sub-contractor supply chain to ensure competitive pricing.
- Analyze and assess quotations for compliance and value.
- Work closely with the Development & Bid Manager to ensure profitability.
- Present bids to Senior Management for review.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Proven Estimating experience within a Main Contractor or Sub-Contractor background.
- Strong knowledge of the Scottish construction market.
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Conquest estimating software or similar is an advantage.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
