About the Role:

Dunbar Education is looking to recruit a Humanities Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact in secondary schools across Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire and educate young minds in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Religious Education.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment conducive to learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in a relevant Humanities subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Humanities education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
