This temp to perm role involves providing essential support to teachers in developing and implementing effective provision for SEND pupils, with the potential to transition into a permanent position.

About the Role:

Multi-School Support: Work collaboratively across four schools in Hackney, offering your expertise in ASD to enhance the quality of education for SEND pupils.

Teacher Support: Guide and support teachers in developing and implementing tailored strategies and interventions for students with ASD, ensuring inclusive and effective learning environments.

Curriculum Adaptation: Assist in adapting the curriculum to meet the specific needs of students with ASD, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience.

Staff Training: Provide training and professional development to teaching staff, helping them to understand and effectively support students with ASD.

Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Oversee the assessment and monitoring of students' progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and helping to adjust teaching strategies as needed.

About You:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential for this role.

Experience with ASD: Significant experience in teaching and supporting students with ASD, ideally in a specialist or SEND-focused role.

Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, students, parents, and external professionals.

Collaborative Approach: A team player who can work across multiple schools and with various stakeholders to improve SEND provision.
