Are you a results-driven sales professional with experience in the timber or construction industry? We're seeking an External Sales Representative to join our team at a leading timber merchant. If you excel at building relationships and driving business growth, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including builders, contractors, and other trade professionals.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the timber and construction sectors.
• Provide expert advice on timber products, helping customers select the right materials for their projects.
• Prepare and deliver quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
• Work closely with the internal sales team to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and delivered on time.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead in the industry and maximise sales opportunities.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in an external sales role, preferably within the timber or construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of timber products and their applications.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory effectively.
