Job Title: Junior Water Hygiene Engineer

Brief:

We are working on behalf of a prestigious client who is actively seeking a proactive Junior Water Hygiene Engineer to join their industry-leading team. The role involves working within both public and private healthcare sectors across the UK and Ireland. Our client has been at the forefront of research, development, and control of waterborne pathogens for over a decade, contributing to British Standards and pioneering innovative techniques within the water hygiene industry.

Role Overview:

In this role, you will leverage your experience in completing Water Hygiene PPM tasks, aseptic sampling techniques, and plumbing skills to help deliver exceptional services that protect clients in various settings. A solid understanding of current legislation, guidance, and British Standards for water hygiene is essential to meet the high standards expected by our client.

You will be joining a highly skilled nationwide team, primarily responsible for collecting water samples in accordance with BS7592:2022 and delivering them to UKAS-accredited laboratories. Additionally, your duties will include regular PPM tasks such as TMV/TMT servicing, cold water storage tank cleaning and disinfections, and the installation/servicing of specialised drinking water dispensers within healthcare environments.

Candidate Requirements:

Water Hygiene Experience: Proficient in Water Hygiene PPM and sampling, utilising aseptic techniques in compliance with BS7592:2022, HSG 274, and HTM 04-01.

Plumbing Skills: Hands-on experience in plumbing tasks related to water hygiene.

Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Technical Competence: Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills.

Time Management: Excellent time management skills with a high level of reliability.

Professionalism: Presentable, methodical, with a keen eye for detail, capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Customer Rapport: Enthusiastic and professional, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.

Mobility: A valid driving license and willingness to travel as required.
