You will be based in brand new offices, that offers free use of their onsite gym facilities.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Credit Control Assistant to support their existing Credit Controller, focusing on speaking with their corporate clients to ensure that invoice queries are dealt with and payments made.

You do not need accounts experience as this role is predominately phone based with interaction with stakeholders.

This position requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and strong attention to detail.

Duties and responsibilities for the Part Time role include:

  • Assist the Credit Controller in managing and recovering aged debtor accounts, ensuring prompt payment of outstanding invoices.
  • Regularly review debtor accounts and follow up with clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to ensure timely payment.
  • Collaborate with the project management and sales teams to gather necessary documentation, such as completion certificates and sign-offs, to support retention claims.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications and transactions.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Credit Controller and support in the preparation of reports on debt recovery progress.
  • Assist in implementing and improving credit control processes to enhance efficiency and reduce debtor days.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Credit Control department as needed.

Skills and experience required for the Part Time role are:

  • Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable, but not essential
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Sage and Excel, and experience with CRM systems.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
