Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer

Our client is a leading construction company based in Cheshire, working on various projects across the North West including Crewe and Manchester. Projects include industrial, residential, extra care and education.

Site Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Conduct accurate site surveys and setting out to ensure precise placement of structures, utilities, and infrastructure elements according to engineering plans.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to interpret technical drawings and implement design specifications on-site.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art surveying equipment and software to measure and maintain precise dimensions, elevations, and alignments.
  • Monitor and verify construction progress, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards, promptly addressing any deviations or discrepancies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to site personnel, resolving technical queries and facilitating smooth construction processes.

Site Engineer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or time served.
  • Proven experience in site setting out and surveying within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using total stations, GPS equipment, and CAD software for surveying and site layout.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to regulatory requirements.
