Pertemps have an exciting opportunity within Harrow Council for a self-driven and motivated School Crossing Patrol Officer to join an expanding team. The role of a School Crossing Patrol Officer has a competitive pay rate of £ 13.41 per hour, increasing in line with Harrow Council Pay Scale increments. Other benefits include, accruing up to 28 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) and the opportunity to apply for any internal permanent roles within Harrow Council.

The Main Purpose of a School Crossing Patrol Officer:

"To direct and control children crossing roads
"To top traffic approaching when children are crossing roads
"To give clear signals to drivers when stopping traffic and ensuring that the traffic remains at rest until the road at the crossing point is clear of pedestrian

About you, the successful School Crossing Patrol Officer will have:

"Must be able to work responsibly and without supervision. Need to be flexible to cover staff sickness at short notice.
