To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Bench joiner to come and join our team at our Cebastone Factory in Ibstock, Leicester Ibstock, LE67 6SH.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective and efficient manufacture of wooden moulds.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Manufacture Mould Boxes - Make Moulds in line with customer requirements, from various materials, using the CAD Drawing

Refurb Mould Boxes - Refurbish Current Mould Boxes using various techniques so they are ready for re-use

Material Management - Ordering and management of all materials required for the Mould Making Department, e.g. wood, glues, screws and fixings. Including incoming quality checks.

General Site Maintenance - Supporting the Site and Facilities team with general carpentry/joinery maintenance tasks e.g. sticking doors, replacing locks, making erecting noticeboards.

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential:

Practical, hands-on ability

People Management, motivation and structured development of the team through performance review to ensure delivery of objectives through Team working.

Leadership and people management skills and the ability to build, motivate, develop and improve the team

Demonstrable ability to implement structured problem solving techniques

Ability to work collaboratively and to communicate effectively across all departments and levels of the business.

Highly organised, able to work under pressure to deliver multiple priorities.

Basic IT computer literacy in the use of outlook and internet explorer.

Passionate about woodwork and joinery.

Ability to operate woodworking machines, Kappa saw/spindle molder/panel saw/planner etc.

Knowledge of H & S

Desirable:

Knowledge of wood working tools

Knowledge of reading CAD Drawings

Training & Development
