Fabric Engineer - TXM Recruit are currently recruiting for a Static Fabric Engineer to work for one of the UKs leading facilities companies, supporting them on a brand-new contract starting in September 2024 in Bristol on an ongoing temporary PAYE contract with the idea of moving over permanently after 12 weeks if you wish.

As a Fabric Engineer you’ll be working within your own dedicated sites as the client’s first point of call for PPM and reactive work along with other general building maintenance.

If you are Mechanically Biased, tasks could include repairs to cooling units and AHU’s, rectifying faults in plant rooms, splits, VRF and more. You will also be asked to support with general fabric work without the facility including minor repairs.

If you are Electrical Biased, tasks could include lighting and power upgrades, circuit board repairs, emergency light testing, and other planned maintenance. You will also be asked to support with general fabric work without the facility including minor repairs.

The salary has a banding from £30,709 to £36,129/pa depending on experience and qualifications. Monday – Friday working 40-hour weeks – 7am to 4pm along with 1 in 4 weeks on call and a weekend scheduled every other weekend.

Requirements

• You will need to have some form of electrical or mechanical experience working within commercial buildings, along with a full driving license with no more than 6 points.
