We have an opportunity for a confident sales professional with strong steel experience.

This position will involve the right candidate being the face of the well-established steel business based within the black country area, geographical coverage will be the local area and nationwide customer base

The right candidate must have the relevant steel experience and also be capable of the following duties:

• A proven track record within the steel sales  
• Develop business opportunities proactively through research activities including cold calling/networking/social media/visiting
• To develop their own client base
• Generate enquiries for the estimators
• Create & deliver successful presentations – at all levels
• Promote all the companies products & services
• Produce weekly/monthly customer reports
• Maximise sales & profit within the team
• Basic Computer literacy – MS Word, MS Excel.
• Knowledge of CRM reporting procedures would be beneficial
• Able to read & accurately interpret contract documents, drawings & technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing customer support
• Liaising with other departments
• Good time management & organisational abilities
• Able to work independently as well as within a team
• Good verbal & written communication skills for a demanding & customer focused working environment.
• Able to communicate with colleagues clearly & effectively, customers & potential clients.

Experience in laser, press brake and sheet metal is essential, any other steel experience will be considered please state when applying
