Senior Cable Puller

People In Power is working in partnership with a leading EPC to support them in ensuring the highest quality of HV cable installations up to 132kv plus oil filled cabling which primarily include cable diversions, installations, and faults & maintenance projects.
The Role
- To oversee cable pulling activities
- Ensure cable pulls are set up correctly
- Advise on methods of cable installation
- Ensure compliance to DNO standards and best practice is followed for all cable installation works
- Review and comment on RAMS as required
Experience Required
- Experience and knowledge of the various methods of cable installation
- Understanding of DNO standards and procedures for cable installation
- Knowledge of cable types 11kV – 132kV
- Understand the importance of cable pulling tensions
You will need to have
- Holds SSSTS/ CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Proficient in English – oral and written
- Good leadership skills
- IT literate
- Strong health and safety awareness
- Willing to travel around London and the Home Counties
