A Process Engineer position is available within an award-winning business currently undergoing significant growth. The company is expanding key teams across the plant and seeks a talented individual to join its dynamic environment. Process Engineer responsibilities include -

  • Review current processes and existing methods of manufacture.
  • Work on volume outputs, scrap/rework, quality, safety, and delivery commitments.
  • Ensure that existing equipment and machinery are kept in good working order.
  • Recommend new equipment when and where necessary.
  • Support with the creation of new manuals and staff training where necessary.
  • Assist with plant layouts to ensure material flow is maximised.
  • Help to drive continuous improvement/kaizen programs on site.

Process Engineer desirable skills and experience -

  • knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of QMS such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, or IATF 16949.
  • Able to use lean tools such as CPK, VSM, PDCA and OEE.
  • Mechanical engineering education (HNC/HNC), or relevant training.
