Transport Manager Required
My Client are seeking an Transport Manager to work out of thier head office in Crawley.
They are a remedial Drainage and Tankering company working in the commercial and industrial sector. They provide remedial and planned maintenace works to highly vauled clients across London, Kent and the south region of the UK.
Salary - £35,000 - £45,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly vehicle checks to ensure compliance and safety.
- Perform daily checks on the tankers, monitoring for damages and ensuring they are maintained in good condition.
- Oversee all transport activities for the company, including booking tankers into tip yards regularly.
- Act as the main liaison to the site teams on the road for vehicle faults/ accidents/ breakdowns.
Must haves:
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
- Previous experience in tanker waste management or tip yard bookings is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth daily transport operations.
