Social Value Administrator

We are looking to hire a part time Social Value administrator to be part of our project team that will support our client who is a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, known for delivering high-quality projects valued between £20m-£200m. Our client has recently been awarded several projects in the Somerset region. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful community impact while working closely with our director who is the appointed social vaue consultant.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will provide essential support to the Social Value director, handling administrative tasks and assisting with the delivery of social value initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the creation and implementation of innovative social value projects that positively impact local communities.
  • Organizing and facilitating presentations and events in community settings such as schools, hospitals, and community centers.
  • Collating data to measure and report on social outcomes.
  • Sourcing relevant information for construction project tenders, including third-party and client employment strategies.
  • Coordinating local work experience and academic opportunities linked to the company's construction projects.
  • Generating engaging marketing content related to social value activities.

Desirable Experience:

  • Some experience in social value roles or related fields.
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to engage with various community stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms like LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • Experience with s106 obligations is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at grades A*-C (4-9) or equivalent.
  • Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and community engagement.
