🌟 Actuarial Developer Needed! 💼🔍

Our client, a leading organisation in the Insurance, Pensions & Investments division, is seeking a skilled Actuarial Developer to join their team on a contract basis for three months, starting in mid-September.

💼 About the Role:

As an Actuarial Developer, your primary focus will be on supporting the changes required for our client's out-of-model adjustment (OOMA) process. You will have the opportunity to design, build, and test changes to actuarial processes, as well as explore secondary opportunities for process improvements and workflow management. Working closely with a team of Technical Leads and Product Owners, you will play a vital role in driving change activities and initiatives.

🌟 Requirements:

To excel in this role, our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

Solid experience in implementing changes to processes and systems.
Background in life insurance or pensions industry (ideally).
Ability to identify key or unexpected outputs and investigate underlying issues.
Strong analytical skills, particularly in Excel.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Power Suite, especially Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query & Power Apps (desirable).
Knowledge of coding with other languages like Python & R (desirable).
Experience in process improvement and automation (desirable).

📍 Location:

Bristol (hybrid working - 2 days onsite and 3 days remote working)

- Duration: 3 months (initially)

- Daily Rate: £800 (inside IR35 via umbrella) (possible flex for the right candidate)
