Our rapidly growing Private Equity backed SaaS client in Durham is currently seeking a Business Development Telesales Representative to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis with a salary of £33,000 - £37,000 on offer and additional commissions estimated an additional £15,000 - £20,000 on top.

What does the role entail?

Your role as a Sales Development Representative will be to research prospects within the defined marketplace, cold call and business develop, to introduce complex SaaS Automotive Technology solutions to clients who have commercial fleets of vehicles. You will maintain and develop new customer relationships and your aim will be booking in meetings with prospects who have a large fleet of vehicles.

What skills will you have?

The ideal candidate for this Sales position will be someone who is an amazing communicator and who can build relationships with senior professionals with ease from a cold start, whilst also nurturing existing relationships too. You will be a self starter who is a go getter and can overcome objections and possess both drive and persistence along with a determination to succeed. You will naturally have a proven track record either within Telesales or within internal sales and be confident generating business through cold prospecting and used to considerable outbound calling. It would be advantageous if you have experience with complex SaaS products/solutions, or a solution based sale.
