Our rapidly growing Private Equity backed SaaS client in Durham is currently seeking a Business Development Telesales Team Leader to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis with a salary of £40,000 on offer and additional bonus estimated an additional £15,000 - £20,000 on top.

What does the role entail?

Your role as a Sales Development Team Leader will be to lead a team of Business Development Representatives, training, developing and upskilling where needed, as well as holding one to ones and performance management where required, whilst fostering relationships within the business. You will work with senior leadership to build and implement new sales strategies, whilst assessing both personal and team performance and reporting to the leadership team. On top of managing the team you will also lead by example, researching prospects within the defined marketplace, cold calling and business developing, to introduce complex SaaS Automotive Technology solutions to clients who have commercial fleets of vehicles. You will maintain and develop new customer relationships and your aim will be booking in meetings with prospects who have a large fleet of vehicles.

What skills will you have?

The ideal candidate for this Sales Leader position will be someone who is an amazing communicator and who can build relationships with senior professionals with ease from a cold start, whilst also nurturing existing relationships too, and possess the leadership capabilities to ensure your team can do the same. You will be a self starter who is a go getter and can overcome objections and possess both drive and persistence along with a determination to succeed. You will naturally have a proven track record either within Telesales or within internal sales and be confident generating business through cold prospecting and used to considerable outbound calling and will have experience with complex SaaS products/solutions.
