The Principal Designer Role
They are seeking a skilled and motivated Principal Designer to join their dynamic team. This is a prime opportunity for a dedicated professional to play a pivotal role in high-profile projects, ensuring adherence to CDM regulations and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety across industries such as affordable housing, central & local government, hospitality, and health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on CDM regulations and health and safety.
- Assisting project teams with design and regulatory matters.
- Conducting health and safety audits and inspections.
- Developing and managing pre-construction information.
- Conducting design risk assessments and reviewing construction phase plans.
- Delivering training and workshops on CDM and health and safety.
The ideal Principal Designer will have:
- A strong understanding of CDM regulations and the Building Safety Act.
- A background in construction or design.
- Extensive experience in delivering CDM Advisor services.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and team-working skills.
- Consultancy experience is highly desirable.
