Level 3 NVQ Pipefitter/Welder
Our client, an M&E subcontractor, is looking for a Piperfitter/Welder to join their team with their workshop based in Suffolk.
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
- 20-day holiday rising to 25 days after 5 years

- Training provided ie IPAF/PASMA
- Workshop hours 7:30-16:30 (1 hour lunch) - Site hours 7:00-15:00 (short break in line with team) - Split is an average 2/3 days in workshop and 2/3 days on site depending on requirements
You'll need to have experience in the following scopes of work:
- Ability to work with mild steel tube to thread and assemble from 15mm NB - 50mm NB
- Able to work dimensioned drawings and fabricate pipework sections
- Able to fabricate bracket systems using unistrut type materials and associated fixings
- Confident in setting out works and organise premade sections for delivery to site and then install on site, confident to work on own initiative
- Able to assemble premade welded pipework on modularised pump/boiler/phx skids
- Competent in working with copper from 15mm - 54mm and able to solder and press
- Competent in brazing copper tube from 67mm-133mm
- Competent in filling and testing LTHW and BCW systems
- Can read schematic drawings and understand symbols and components
- Competent in MMA welding to Class 2 65mm-200mm
- Competent in Energy Centre layouts and installations
