Role: IP Network Engineer
Location: Guernsey (onsite)
Salary: Flexible dependent on experience
We have a great opportunity with one of our telecoms clients looking for an IP Network Engineer.
The role:
- Operate, maintain and manage the organisations IP/MPLS networks, broadband, BNGs, DDoS protection systems, broad RADIUS platform and network monitoring platform
- Assist Service Design in the planning, testing and implementation of enhancements and new technologies for IP/MPLS networks
- Implement and evaluate IP & MPLS related solutions / technologies
- Liaise with other internal teams and stakeholders where required
- Assist with the preparation of performance, growth, and budgeting information
Experience needed:
- Demonstrated expertise in IP and technical networking
- Skilled in developing, managing, and supporting IP networks
- Proficient in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware, particularly routers and switches
- Experienced in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting OSPF and BGP dynamic routing protocols
- Associate Cisco or Juniper accreditation
- Valid driving license
