DEVLND was founded in 2010 as an eCommerce company in the Hair & Beauty Sector. No fulfilment companies existed so we set up our own warehouse.

Over the following years we perfected our logistics, stock management and warehousing operations and in 2018 decided to open our services to help other businesses with their logistics.

Accounts & Bookkeeping Assistant.

We are an E-Commerce and Fulfilment company based in Bristol. WSlling well-known brands in the beauty sector and a fulfilment company where we pick, pack and ship orders for clients ranging from start-ups to multinational corporations.

You will report to the company directors in your day-to-day job.

The Accounts Assistant will support our Directors by being responsible for the end to end process of the debtors, creditors and bank, credit control and assist with month end tasks such as posting journals and reconciliations. You will be an essential part of our business by delivering an efficient, organised, and accurate finance function.

Some of the responsibilities of your role will include:

Ensuring timely and accurate sales invoices are issued to customers and receipts are correctly posted
Credit control including dealing with customer finance related queries
Processing of purchase invoices
Supplier statement reconciliations
Supplier payments
Bank transaction processing
Bank reconciliation
Assist with month end tasks including posting journals and control account reconciliations
Processing credit card payments
Liaising with other teams to ensure that the above duties are carried accurately, and customer/supplier issues are resolved in a timely manner
Assist with telephone calls

The Accounts Assistant salary is c £25k-30k

About you

Numeracy & problem-solving skills: able to work independently with complex data sets and investigate issues with the data/processes to resolve.
Attention to detail: able to proactively spot potential errors to ensure processes are delivered right first time
Collaboration & Communication: a team player able to flow the work within the Accounts team and collaborate with other teams
Strong written and verbal skills to ensure clear and professional communication.
Systems: Proficient in Office Suite computer applications
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage busy workload
Confident working to timescales and deadlines
Qualified in AAT Level 2 or qualified by experience
Experience with Xero accounting software is a bonus but not essential.
Ability to work with the minimum of supervision
